Heh.<BR/><BR/>I do not brown meat before using my slow cooker. It kind of defeats the whole purpose! But I can understand why it would help develop flavor. I'm just lazy.<BR/><BR/>I often make ribs in mine - cook all day and ready to eat when I'm home for dinner break. Or I "roast" a chicken - one night we eat it with broccoli. The next night it's in pasta or sandwiches. And of course I save all the bones, etc. and use them to make stock. Save time AND pennies!<BR/><BR/>(And I've made a WW crockpot lasagna before.
